ok... ive done my research on the pedals. i have only tried out the axis and really liked them(although i didnt mess with the settings on it).i know that the trick is going to be more adjustable and probably more solid of a pedal(i think). my main issue is warrantee. i cant seem to find anything on the axis website about this. anybody wanna give their 2cents on the pedals and warantee info?

Axis has a 2 year warranty, IIRC.
Maybe even a 5 year. If you're worried about warranty, get Demon Drives. Lifetime warranty. If you figure out the warranty, just know that Tricks are the most amazing pedals ever, as far as Direct Drive goes. |

+1 on the demon drive idea elk.
Ive owned both Axis A and X longboards and thought they were both great pedals. i preffered the X. I now have the demons and they are far superior to the axis! imo. |

Just curious as to why you are not including Pearl's Demon Drive in your selection of direct drive pedals?

After going back and forth for over two months between most of the high end pedals on the market, I picked the Trick Pro 1 V. The decision was based mainly because of their quality workmanship, smoothness and ease of adjustability needing only a drum key for most. No more crawling around the floor for a simple tension adjustment.

the demon drives are, of coarse, in the mix. but for this thread i just wanted to compare the trick and axis. its also not so much the direct drives as it is the long boards witch the demons also include. to be quite honest, i am leaning towards the demons just incase i decide that longboards arent for me... but i just wanted to explore my options befor i spent the money.

I think you can't go wrong with any of those selections, what's your price range? I think axis are cheapest of the 3 (demons are a close 2nd) and i think the tricks are like 700+.

I was stuck on this decision a while ago. After weeks of checking out the features of both pedals i settled on axis and im extremely happy! The VDL on the axis allows you to adjust how heavy/light the pedal feels which is definately my favourite feature on them. The trick are amazing pedals too and so are the demon drives, but i have tested the demons and although i didnt get much time to adjust them i wasnt impressed. As for trick i never got the chance to test them but i was talking to Mike dorfman, president of trick, and he was very helpful in giving me all the specs of the pedals. The customer support at axis is top notch too. Its really up to you but Axis was the choice i made and i couldnt be happier. They are like no other pedals. They are unique and although it may take some time to get used to them, you will be extremely happy with them.
