    In all seriousness, Oil/Flames tonight. I reeeeeeeeeeeeeally want a win tonight. Really.

    Doubt I'll see one, though. Despite the fact the Oilers are healthier than they've been all year, they're playing their worst hockey. It hurts to watch.

    About 75% of the time, yes.

    Also, Wings/Bolts/Avs make a trade today. Quincey to DET, Downie to COL, Prospect + 1st rounder to TB. It's a trade I normally wouldn't care about, but I ****ing hate the idea of having Downie in my division.

    No surprise that Conklin was sent down to the minors and Joey Mac made back-up goalie. And now Datsyuk is out for 2-3 weeks for knee surgery.

    No Datsyuk.. Ouch. That's gonna hinder them badly. I'm not suprised Conklin was waived, he hasn't played well, and it's hard when starts are few and far between.

    I'm not either. I think the real surprise is that anyone is still willing to sign Conklin. He's never even been a decent backup.

    watched Edmonton vs Canucks on Sunday... maybe the most boring game I've watched in a loooooooong time. Canucks in general are really boring but they got an early lead and that was it, game over.

    He played decently in the minors...and didn't do too bad the first time he played for the Wings. But playing starter in the minors isn't the same as starting in the majors, or backup for that matter.

    Also, I hope someone picks Mac up for a starter. It doesn't do much for your career if you're just a backup.
