Beautiful kit. The hats, snare and 10" and 12" toms seem very far apart from one another but it still looks fun to play!

I agree about the hats being far apart from the snare and 10" tom, looks sort of uncomfortable. But nice kit!

Thanks guys! Now that you mention it, the hats do look really far away. I guess I never noticed before...

It might have stemmed from me having a 3-leg, non-rotating hihat stand with a double pedal for so long, and it just became comfortable for me to have them so far away...

    Super nice kit!

Does the bar on your left support anything?

That kind of setup just doesn't seem very ergonomic at all, I'm sure you wouldn't be playing it like that if it wasn't comfortable though. Nice kit man!

I played around with the cymbal and pedal placement, and I found that the hihats and toms were actually farther away than I was comfortable with.

I have had the feeling for a couple months now that the setup just wasn't quite right, but I could never pinpoint what it was that felt "off". Today, after reading the comments (which were very helpful, and not offensive at all) I moved the entire rack closer to me, so the toms are now much more accessible and the hihats are now closer as well. Thanks to everyone for helping me realize why my kit felt kind of weird to play. I take my pedal and my hihat stand off of my set a lot to take with me when I play at church, so it's quite possible that over time the hats just kept getting farther and farther away.

Not at the moment, but in the somewhat near future, I will put a bunch of multi-percussion on a CH2000S with several of the TL2000 Gyro-Lock Tilters in a sort of T-shaped configuration mounted on that wing.
