    Default Headshrinker's kit

Here's another (mostly) Masters kit asking to be shared.

Pix (one day, I'll do some nicer ones)

    Badge, lugs and finish:

    Front view:

    Driver's seat:

    'Non-matching' snare:

    With the other snares:

Enter the cowbell (and off run my bandmates):

My mascotte, up close and personal:

    Specs
    • Shells: 22x18" bass, 12x9" tom, 16x16" floor: Pearl Masters Premium MRP (6-ply maple), 102 Natural Maple finish, chrome hardware (of course)
    • Snare 1: Pearl 'Jupiter', 14x6.5", COB;
    • Snare 2: Dixon Artisan 14x7", 7-ply maple
    • Snare 3: Tama PAL255 14x5.5" aluminium
    • Cymbals: Zultan Rockbeat 22" ride, 14" hi-hats, 16" + 18" crash; Zultan CS 10" splash; Masterwork Troy 18" China
    • Hardware: Tama Iron Cobra single bass drum pedal ('Rolling Glide'); Fame snare stand (DS9000)/hi-hat stand (HH9000)/cymbal stand (CS9000)/cymbal arm (CH2)+clamp (TC4); Roadworx boom stands (CBS-800S); Pearl AX-20 multiclamp; Pearl TH-88S tom arm; Salsa cowbell holder
    • Cowbell: Pearl 'Rock' 8" (ECB-10)
    • Heads: Remo Emperor + Ambassador (toms), Evans G1/Remo Ambassador/Emperor CS/Vintage A (snares), Aquarian Superkick I + Regulator (bass)
    • Throne: Fame DS9000

    The good news:
    • I love this kit.
    • Those 'Golden Ratio Air Vents' really add to the playing sensation.
    • All of these components I got fairly cheaply (demo models, close-outs, etc.).

    The bad news:
    • I'm not worthy... (These drums are far beyond my playing ability.)
    • Those 'Golden Ratio Air Vents' do not match the chrome hardware.
    • Most of the time I 'kill' it with RockBag practice dampers.

Nice kit. I'm digging the shrunken head...that's freaky stuff! Hopefully it's 'authentic' and was wasn't 'collected' for sale to tourists purposes. Whoa! haha. I used to adorn my kit with a doll (named her Gladys haha) that came from Africa with a shipment of drums to a music store. I saw it at the store and asked about it and they sold it to me. Years later, My Siberian Husky, Alice, killed Gladys.

ive shrunk a few heads in my time, i use a fungus in dust form i can just lightly blow in their face while they sleep. then when they wake up the hallucination's allow me to mold their minds. i have convinced a man he was a fish before. he passed away shortly after as fish cant breath out of water

Well, hitting/kicking the drums is rewarded with a well-projected, very pleasant, 'air stream'.

    RIP Gladys.

My 'Mzon doesn´t have to be afraid of death, since he's undead already.
