Premier Cabria

I found a 5 piece premier cabria for sale on craigslist. but i dont know if its a PK/APK/XPK.
is there any way from identifying the difference between the three? please help.

Is it wrapped or lacqered??

Great kits man, I picked up this recently, cut it down shallower for my black shadow bop kit, they look identical to the uninformed-

That's an XPK tom. get it bought, put coated ambassadors on it and it'll sing!!

oh cool. but that one has the bridge high tension lugs. the one im getting has the single lowmass lugs. is there a difference?
also is there a badge or something stating its a xpk? the one im getting is green stained. so maybe clean laquered?

also im sorta confused on what the shell is. ive read from birch, maple, mahogany, even eucalyptus?

Sounds like an XPK kit. The most common shell layup for those drums is Birch and Eucalyptus. Nice drums

eucalyptus is a cheap low end wood isnt it?

Eucalyptus cheap low end?
Don't know about that. There are hundreds of eucalypt varieties here in Australia and there is some awesome furniture and stuff being made with it. It's a hardwood.

I've got a cabria fusion kit, its a beautiful musical little set. Get it bought. The new low mass singular lugs make no odds, its a more recent set. And premiers build quality is good stuff mostly.
