It's washier than I would want in any ride, but it's all preference I suppose.

i wouldnt use it as a ride. but thats just me.
i would use it as a crash when im wash riding.

In my personal experience, no. Crashes are a lot thinner than rides so you don't really get a clear ping, if that's what you're looking for. If you want a washier ride, it'd probably work a bit better.

if you want a washier ride i recommend a 21" zildjian A sweet ride or a 22" paiste twenty light ride.

thanks guys. I had a listen and yeah, its a bit too washy for my taste. I was just curious to see if would be possible to use as a ride, because I'm looking for a new one.
I'd like a ride that has a reasonable amount of ping and a decent crash.

Whats are the K and K Custom rides like?

is you want a K line.
the ones i like are the 20in K heavy rides and the k custom session rides.

20'' and 22'' k rides have great ping with a nice wash making it crashable as well... if ping isn't so important try the k light rides

k custom dark ride, and k dark medium rides are great too

I have an A custom 19" MEDIUM crash. Its great, very nice ride with around 40/60 stick/wash ratio. Great bell too, I used it as my main ride for a while when I was between rides. Great versatility.
