The Savages - I cannot stop thinking about this movie since I saw it. I bought it on DVD and it has been sitting on my shelf for a year unwatched. I promised my wife I would watch it with her and she never jumped on it. It was so good I am going to watch it again today. It's a simple story, but some how it works.

Saw Lincoln Lawyer in the theater last weekend and left feeling it was actually worth it's $8.00 ticket price.
I'd say 8.5/10 and the Bobby Bland intro song is so good.

It's true. He ran out of ways to rip off Alice Cooper so he decided to make a gimmick where he pretends to be a female pop star. It's working pretty well.

Back to the topic...

Star Wars Episode I: I've seen it before but I watched it again. Love the stuff with Obi Wan and Qui-Gon and Darth Maul. Hate the stuff with baby Anakin and Jar Jar Binks. In the end, I can't give it more than an objective 5/10 and that's pretty generous.

Toy Story 3: Better than I thought it would be. I've enjoyed all the Toy Story movies. This one wasn't as fresh obviously since we've seen this all before but it was still pretty good. I'd say 7/10.

Inside Man with Denzel Washington & Clive Owen

very clever movie when compared to other bank robbery movies. I've seen this movie before, just watched it again today and thought I'd post about it. I highly recommend it.

X-Men first class. But, at the theater they inserted the final reel upside down so that the last 30 odd minutes were in reverse. That ending was the psycho-social cinematic experience of the decade.
