    Default My new Pearl MMP

    Hello everybody! Here I am.
    I'm new here, I'm from Florence, Italy. I'm a Pearl drummer since... 2002? I don't remember!
However, this is my new drum set, my 5th! My previous sets were an EXR Strata Black, an MMX wine red, and two Reference, one Crystal Rain and one with Natural Maple color!
The one with Natural Maple color is in France, inside my recording studio... Unfortunately very far away

    But no more talking:

    Pearl MMP Black Mist
    Bass Drum 22x18
    10x8 - 12x9 toms
    14x14 16x16 floor toms
Main snare: Pearl Ian Paice Signature
    Alternative Main: DrumArt Supreme
    Secondary: Tama Metalworks 12x4
Hardware: DR503C CH2000S / CH1000 (in this photos there are different cymbal holders, I ordered 4 CH1000 last week)
    Pedals: Eliminator P2002, H2000, RH2000
Main HH: Zildjian K Costantinople 14"
Secondary HH: Zildjian K Mastersound 14"
    Ride: Zildjian Avedis Medium 24"
    Crashes: Zildjian A Custom Projection 19", Medium 18", Z Custom Medium 17"
    Splashes: Zildjian K Custom 8", Avedis 6"
Various: LP Cowbell , Pearl Woodblock, Vic Firth 5B Extreme / Metal N / Hot Rods / Brushes, Boss DB90 metronome, yamaha mixer

    That's it!

Awesome kit Fabio. Welcome to the Masters Army once again. Black mist with a chrome snare just spells wonderful!!!!! Sounds like you have some other fine Pearl kits as well.

Nice kit! I'm really liking that 24" Medium Ride. I have a 22" myself. What happened to your hi hat though? Looks like somebody shot it with a pellet gun.

Ahahahahah! It's the second time someone's asking me that! Funny XD Nothing happened to my Costantinople. It's just a part of the "random hammering" technique. It's a delicious/marvelous/wonderful/idonthavethewords/ hi hat BTW, Shippy, Yeah, GAS sucks lol!
@BadAstronaut: it's a photographic problem. Not enough light to see the woodgrein. You just have to see it with your eyes. It's... Again, I can't find the words to explane how Pearl did such a great job!
@ Jutt8 Yup, I have another Pearl Reference in my house in France... Just a little more... BIG. 2 BD 22x18, 8/10/12/13/14/15 - toms, 16/18 floor toms but it's since july 2008 that I cannot play with her.. It's so far (1330km) and I'm so busy with work...

    Thanx Pals for the visit!

Ha! Okay. I thought it might be that way on purpose, but was curious so I had to ask! I'm glad it's not broken, haha. And yes, the price of gas keeps me from buying more drums and cymbals, and that definitely sucks.

Hey there Fabio...like the Homer poster!

I feel your pain having a huge Reference kit and not being able to play, but the one you have pics of is a beauty!!!
