    JJ:
    18" Zildjian K Constantinople Crash over 18" Zildjian A Rock Crash (hi-hats)
    22" Zildjian K Constantinople Medium-Thin Low Ride (left-side crash/ride)
24" Zildjian K Light Ride (ride position)
    22" Zildjian K Constantinople High Bell Medium-Thin Low Ride (right-side crash/ride)

    Steve:
    17" Paiste Prototype Hats
20" Paiste Traditionals Thin Crash (left-side crash)
22" Paiste Traditionals Light Ride (ride position)
    20" Paiste Traditionals Light Ride (right-side crash/ride)

Not sure on his mini-kit setup...

And I would assume hats like JJ's would work well for blues...just like with anything, it depends on how you play them. He makes them work with John Mayer and I would consider his music to be bluesy, if a little poppy here and there.

Yeah...you're probably right. The specs I listed above are from an old-ish MD article. The pic is from John Mayer's most recent tour.

A 22" Paiste Signature series Ride (w/ rivets)
