    Default Pearl DLX 10*6 1/2

I just got 2 drums from UK. A 15*14 DLX tom in Naturel Maple finish and the other one was a gamble because it looked on the pictures that it was something made at home..
But when i have looked closer i think it is a DLX 10*6 1/2 tom in Natural Maple finish that someone have put wrap on!
Anyone out there that have one of these?? And can tell me if i am right??

    Hi DLX100,
    Great Score!
It is entirely possible that you have what you think you have.
I went back and looked at your old threads, the DX/DLX catalogue thread and Rare Pearl Tom sizes thread.
While that size did not appear in the DX/DLX catalogue from 84, it did appear in the 1986 pricelist and the later catalogue you posted.

And in the rare pearl toms thread, "Robbie Macnaughton" (I think thats his user name) said he had a DX tom in the same size stripped and sprayed to match his Sequia Red DLX kit.

So, well done, now you just need to find an 8*8

    Thanks.
Well i got lucky this time..it could have been rubbish!
That size appear in the 84 catalogue but without any picture!
You could buy it to all series. The only drum you could not get was 14" floortom to DX/ DLX in 1984. But i have seen Jazzkits in UK with that size floortom. A later production i think.
Well i have an 8*8 maple tom in wine red laquer and GLX in Natural Maple.
I'll have to go for the 8*5 1/2 now !
