Pedal setup. This is just to show the pedals, because I'm currently waiting for the pipes that hold both the hh stand and the remote stand to get chromed. There is thread in which I show how I attached it if you like to search for it.

I hope you like it as much as I do.

The impression of the thickness is because of the reinforcement rings. Since this pics were took with the W6 and at night (because here is winter and I get home at night, no chance for daylight pics), you can't see the real thing. Tomorrow (I think) I'll be picking up a camera and if I do that, I'll take out the 8" and take a pic of the inside.

The remote hat stand is a "mercury": http://www.mercurydrum.it/my_mercury/my_mercury.htm

It got it for almost free, and since my other options were a used Tama or a used Elim for U$S400 each, I dediced to stick with this one. I know the others work 10,000 times better, but I just won't spend that amount of money in something like that. Signatures are cheaper and more worthy

Thanks a lot for the kind words, guys!

I've edited the original post, since I forgot about the shells. Toms are made of Paradise, a hard wood with a really nice medium tone and lots of sustain. bass drums instead are made of Guatambu, with is also a hard wood but with medium to high tone, and lots of attack.
Here in Argentina Maple, Birch and Mahogany are impossible to buy, and if you can, the quality is far from what you buy in the US or Europe. So, here kits are made with different woods. I'll try to record something in the near future...

About the thickness, as I was telling Diofter, I'll take pics of the shell interior as soon as I can get a good camera, and I'll try to meassure it
