    Default Yamaha Maple Custom tom

I just received my new tom today! Itīs a Yamaha Maple Custom 14"x12". I bought it because the color matched perfectly to one of my Maple Custom kits.

The first pic is of the new tom. The second pic is of one of my Maple Custom kits (the new tom will replace the floor tom) and the last picture is of all of my 14" Maple Custom toms. In this pic you can see clearly that Yamaha has had 3 different variations of green in their "turquoise"-color during the years.

Sweet. I like the legged floor tom. Keeping that?

Color variations aren't too unusual. Usually an add-on drum needs to go back to the factory for exact matching. That's one reason I like wrapped kits.

Those racks are huge! That must be a 20" bass drum.

Gorgeous kit. That's my favorite finish on the Maple Customs.
