My version of Chris Dangerous' kit.

I picked up some keller shells 26 x 18, 18 x 16, 12 x 8, 14 x 5, 8 ply, and a 14 x 8 6 ply with 5ply rings for a mere $75! I was watching a video of the hives and said wow that's what i want to do with these shells. Here's a picture of his kit, followed by a teaser of my bass drum. Still waiting for the others to finish drying and i should be able to start clear coats tomorrow.

I'm thinking of putting 8 lugs per side on the 12" tom and mount it on a snare.

idk. but i love the black in white with the gold outline on the shield on the bass head
to me it would look classy if you just put a gold pinstripe around the black stripes, that could be tiny but the subtle effect would be gorgeous
