i don't know how this thing gets called a crash, i guess i'll find out. so much for vintage style flat base stands...it's white print, seller said 70s/80s. anyone have experience with these? It ended up around $230 with shipping.

BP sold! have odds and ends, in case anyone is restoring something (a ton of the generic old pearl style lugs), Gibraltar 8 lug DCs (tom hoops with holes drilled for snare wires) 12" gong, and a new zildjian 12" A custom splash, portnoy 11" splash, some old parts that will fit an acrolite....

I have wanted one for the longest time. I played one ONCE and fell in love. I don't really like the Eclipse one they have now. RUDEs are supposed to be UNLATHED!!!

That's an albino version isn't it? Normal RUDE's have a way darker finish.

    13" crap zbt hats
    11" portnoy splash
20" camber ride (traded, don't use it)
    the new 15" hats
    wuhan 12" splash
    Zildjian 12" A custom splash

the setup will be: rude ride on right, 12" Zildjian on stacker above it, ZHT flat ride as crash on left, probably with another stacker with either the portnoy alone, or portnoy + small china in a stack. so....3 crashes, plus a crash as top hat, plus a ride. or the same thing with a stack. I'll play it by ear, i like simple setups (3 drums) and may not even use the portnoy/stack. Do want that flat ride as a big crash though...

EDIT: FWIW my 3 piece will have a 26" kick, and already has a 16x6 tom. Still deciding on a self built keller snare, but i'm tapped out from buying these cymbals, trick hat stand, new sampler, etc.

Hmm, that's pretty unique. Do you have any photos posted?
