i feel bad about throwing away my broken sticks. i mean, theyre nice pieces of hickory, and theyre just chewed up a little and broken at the top, so why waste them? anybody have any ideas as to what i could do with 50+ broken sticks?

But this guy is an awsome drummer hes snare stuff is insane and his blink 182 nd +44 is just so hard to play perfect".
keep them in a bag incase of random vampire attack... drummers are an valuable source of wooden stakes...
I hang them up on my wall, aswell as my old drumheads![]()

You could use a couple of pairs to "fabricate" custom cymbal soft mallets.
Still, 50+ pairs is a lot of wood mate.
Cheers!
^^^ haha no not 50 pairs. around 50 sticks. i used to use them as kindling wood for fires, but i dont really want to burn them.

I rarely break sticks, but once they reach that point where the tips begin to soften and/or chip...I switch to a fresh pair. The spent sticks...are placed next to(not in) the dumpster at my rehearsal space and some other drummer(s) snags 'em up.

Good idea. I've seen drummers in need, using chomped up beaten sticks.
Cheers!
^^ i kept my first broken stick and my first broken drumhead, but the other sticks are just annoying. i think ill try the dumpster thing, but there arent a whole lot of drummers in my area.

I used to burn them too. But now I'm just throwing them away.
I kept my first sticks as a memory.
