though most of you know that from my good friend steve!! In these posts i will have the specs, a breif summery of all the drums, and the 30 or so pictures that i have, i will tell you when i am done posting the pictures and thanks for waiting

1. stack, will be replaced by the 18" oriental china/trash i ordered when they get one in
2. 14" A Custom Mastersound hi hats
3. 6" AA Splash

5. 10" A Custom Splash
6. 16" XS20 medi-thin crash (will be replaced when i pay these off)
7. 20" K Custom Dark Ride

HARDWARE:
P-2002 pearl eliminator pedal
Pearl Boom stand (dunno model, got unilock)
MAPEX: S550A snare stand, H750A hihat stand, B750A boom stand (x2)
P750A, not using it, prolly selling with the old kit
Tama Roadpro Boom stand
Basix snare stand (side snare)
Pacific boom stand

Heads:
batters are ambassadors, clear, coated on snare, bass using an Evans EMAD
Resos are clear ambassadors on all and bass is a black Powerstroke 3 reso
10, 12, 14 clear evans g2 batters are on their way, should be here tomorrow

WRAPUP!!!!
these drums, no joke, are the best drums i have herd, seen, and played in my life, the finish is amaaazing, it is beautiful, the grain is amazing, the sparkle in the dark area is amazing (i have a really really good picture of that) lets talk about the plus's of every single drum!!! The rack toms have a very high pitch with a very warm sound that resonates and projects, sounds amazing, the floor tom, though 14" truely booms, it shakes the ground, so deep, the bass drum literally shakes the walls, after i hit it the door next to the drums rattled for a bit, was crazzzy!!! the snare is one of my favorite parts of it, so much pop, so much attack, great tone, and just the right amount of ring!
The only thing that was bad about these drums, not really the drums however, in order to remove the bass drum mount correctly 4 of your lugs will stick out a bit because they are different with the spacing than the others, you just switch them with 4 lugs from the bottom of the drum, not a problem, however if mapex included 4 normal ones i think that'd be a great thing!! anyway, ENOUGH OF MY RAMBLING!!! ON WITH THE PICTURES!!!!!!!

EDIT: almost forgot, i would really like to thank Andy@massmusic.net and everyone at massmusic for helping me, this is an amazing kit that i got for a great deal, and man it got here fast, shipped tuesday morning, got it wednesday at noon!!!

haha thanks guys, i have a picture of the grain really well on the bass drum, so beautiful, however, the picture is big, i dont want to make it smaller cause i want you to be able to see the detail, think i should post it lol, i will if wanted.

but ya, i hear the doorbell ring at 12 or around there, im thinkin its one of my friends cause i wasn't even expecting these untill this morning, i see a pretty big box (the one with the hardware) with the mapex swirl on it, my legs started shaking and i was like, so excited, lol!!! thanks guys, want me to post the pic?

ya man, they are amazing drums, the best imo, heres the pic, dont yell at me about not resizing it cause A. i did a bit, and B. i wanted to keep the quality of the grain so that you all could see how beautiful it really is!!!

Probably oe of the main reasons Mapex drums are less expensive is that Mapex is most likely saving a ton of money on labor. You're the one assembling them, not some factory worker. Which leads to smaller boxes to ship since they ship all the shells in one box. Less items to ship means even more savings......
