    eBay Man !

If you can't or fear shopping on eBay, well here's a 10 lugs Maple snare with die cast hoops for 109.99 $ cnd. I wouldn't mind trying or even buying one...

i don't know if you can buy them separately, but the Tama superstar snare (birch) is amazing. In Birmingham drum centre, it sounded nicer than a Masterworks maple which was next to it. Could be down to tuning, but even if it was, it still sounded REALLY good. It has Die-cast hoops which is really rare for a cheap snare, and i think that's what gives it that extra edge.

I bought a superstar snare last year and I can attest to how good it sounds. I was amazed when I heard that drum in the shop, I seriously thought that it was a much more expensive drum.
