Well, as mentioned, good advice is: get a press pack.
Think about your abilities as a drummer. Check out some lists of your favourite custom companies' endorsers. Your signature on the forum here has a link to "Drum Recording...Sloppy." No one wants to endorse a sloppy drummer.
More important than your ability is your band's profile... Is this company going to be able to find your band if they do a quick google search of your name? Have you sold albums before? Have you toured before? Is the tour you are going on a bunch of Church Halls and Community Centres, or are they dedicated concert venues?
What a custom company wants to see is a good drummer in a well known, well-liked band. Present yourself in a professional way to the company. Get a press kit with a bio, good quality recordings and picture of your band, some published reviews.
It never hurts to try, so send your stuff out to every company, just present yourself to them in a way that will make them know people will see you play, with your band, and want to buy drums from said company.
Best of luck dude!

idk what kind of recordings...should it be like a solo recording and a recording with my band?
You'll need a press pack focusing on yourself (and to a lesser degree your band). You'll want to focus on your individual and collective accomplishments. Be prepared to provide lists of upcoming dates, previous shows, any media opportunities you've had (or have planned), fan base, average venue size, venue location, etc. Also, will you be headlining or supporting acts? Are those acts national acts or local acts? There's A LOT that goes into the consideration of taking on a artist as an endorsee (even more than I've listed here).Quote:

Of course, you'll also have to be a competent player with some sort of "professional level" chops, playing experience and business experience. Manufacturer's need the people representing their businesses to be reasonably intelligent, well-spoken and personable. Remember, you're representing them every time you talk to someone about their products!
Finally, be prepared to answer the questions: "What can you do for us?" and "Why do you want an endorsement?" Also, it's in pretty poor taste to ask a company for an endorsement without owning (or have had extensive experience with) their particular products.
Just my $0.02.
well, you gotta be good first and foremost... anyone's band can tour...
^Yes!
I'm assuming you've already got drums, since you're playing shows. For what reason, other than being able to say "I endorse brand x drums", do you need an endorsement deal?
That said, why don't you call Shine. They'll endorse you, whether you're good or not. ****, they'll endorse your whole band.
Bluntly: Based on your myspace vid, I seriously doubt anybody is gonna give you a deal.
Well, with your band would be better, unless you are doing a clinic tour or something.Quote:

Keep in mind, we are developing new (far better) material for the upcoming ep once the studiotech comes back from japan. should be great.

Honestly, how could anybody on this board have any idea what your chances are of 'scoring a deal'? My advice to EVERYBODY that's looking for a deal is to stop looking and just play your music....Quote:
