Still trying to get the hang of how these forums operate. Thanks for the reputation. I couldn't work out where it had come from.

Teacher has me going back to Chris Brien's Progressive Rhythms book next week for more ostinatos and permutations. They do my head in but can give a real sense of achievement when you actually start to get the hang of them. I've got Finale software on order and should be getting my TD-9KX next week. Was very surprised at the cost of thrones though. I figure I may as well treat myself to something comfortable to go with such a great kit.
