 Wow..... I about wet myself :p ..........

Those drums sounded absolutely stunning. They had Coated Ambassador heads on them, so i didn't get the whole effect, but man, it was sheer beauty. They didnt seem like they had to be tuned barely at all, just a quick twist of the tension rods. :p I was actually surprised at how open and low the 14X12" FT was; because most 14" floors i hear just don't get that low-end like a floor tom should. And th 10" tom wasn't too high like some i hear (like a timbale or something, laugh out loud) The Reference and a DW Collecters Series kit were undeniably the best kits on the floor there, both are amazing. I just have to say.... amazing job Pearl! You have really impressed me this time!! And i was just amazed to actually SEE one of the Reference series kits, and none-the-less PLAY one!! Especially with all the hype about them and such, and seeing as how most people haven't ever heard of them yet. :p I just had to tell yall about this, but i was defintely amazed!! :D

I also tryed out a Black Panther snare, and whoa.... If it wasn't for the price tag, it'd be sitting in my room right now! :p

I wonder when I'll get my hands on a Reference drum.. I doubt there are any Scandinavia, if so I haven't heard of it.

Music indeed! The first thing I'm doing when I get my reference kit is ripping off the coated heads though. They've got to go. If only to be able to see the nice wood I'm going with clear ambassadors.
