Dear All,
I wanted to thank each and every one of you for your thoughts,support and prayers. I know we only know each other through a computer screen, but it's so nice to know that you are out there and appreciate me.
I was ill for 3 1/2 weeks with a lung infection..It hit me while I was at NAMM in LA. I returned home,and went in the hospital..28 LBS lighter,Im back in the saddle. In fact yesterday I played my drums..Thank you again...It means the world to me to know I have so many great friends in the drumming community..
All that said and done....Lets talk drums !!!

yikes - 28lbs! Not good... I lost the same amount a few years back (only weighed around 140 to start with) so I can relate... Get eating! :rolleyes:
Good to have you back Carl - now we can all look forward to lots more cool MW stuff:D

I hope you have a sandwich in one hand while drumming, man thats alot of weight. I lost about 10lbs with my illness, and I feel like boney maroni.

Welcome back, Carl. Glad to hear you are well again and thanks for acknowledging all of our wishes for your healing. It means a lot to know that your well-wishes were received, although it may have been overwhelming. It also says a lot about the Pearl team to have someone step up to the plate in your absence like Hook did and do such a wonderful job. Keep up the good work.

I'm glad your doing better! I have been trying to lose 28 lbs for 6 month's, but that sounds a little drastic!
