On order: New Reference 5 piece set. Ive never ordered a drumset before or anything custom for that matter. My patience is growing very thin and its only the middle of May. Everyday seems to be standing still and I can think of nothing else but that damn drumset. @#$%!* Anyone else feel the same way? Even if its a new cymbal, snare, or drum I feel someone out there must be feeling my pain.

dude masterworks take 6 months its just part of the deal . i think pearl does this on purpose ;) that way you can appreciate them more

I feel your pain, Jim. I also have a Reference set on order and waiting half a year sucks. I am keeping myself busy at work and when I go home I try not to think about it too much. Luckily I have other drum sets to play.

Try writing a letter to your drums detailing how nice it will be once you pull them out of their boxes and set them up and then pound them senseless for hours on end. Haha.

I ordered my rf kit 2 days after the namm show in jan. I was told may. Now Im hearing my kik drum and rack tom will come in june.My floortom in july. Snare? who knows.Im on the road alot. when we have time we visit music stores.Every guy working in the drum department say's pearl= back order. I love pearl drums but wish they were faster at getting the stuff out.
