hey Pearl pounders!
lets talk pedals, ide been looking to buy a new pearl double pedal for about a month now at my local music store because i had heard they are the slickest pedal around.
well tired of waiting for my supplyer to finnaly deliver so he showed me a tama iron cobra and a yamaha dfp-9310..... i was impressed by the tama but blown away with the yamaha..... since there was no Pearl to compare to, my excitement purchased the Yamaha and i am totally pleased with it ......
Pearl dfp players... is there any major difference between the two???
wondering!!!

Not trying to sound like a moderator, but if you post a Hardware related question in a specific type drum forum, you wont get many answers since in most cases, people who dont own a Session kit (For example) wont look here and even see your question. Just a thought.

i go to all the drum related forums...the only thing Pearl i own is the P2002c pedal. and it rules!!!! but the dw 5000's are smooth too. so are the gibraltars. thats all ive played. except the mapex janus system, those suck.

I've played the yamaha's pearls and tama bass pedals, and ended up with the tama. Hands down my favorite.

U Know , i thought of an Axis, but there was not one around to try out, and the prices are pretty steep......
Guess ill try one out when i go to a good drum shop......
Still very pleased with my Yamaha DFP. smooth & slick.
