If this is possible, I'm going to seriously consider doing this. I want a 30 ply snare of Maple. That's all the want, is the shell. No heads, lugs, rims ect. . . Does Pearl do this? If so, how much would it be?

10 ply, 12.5mm is as thick as they go. And you can only get a complete snare. Sorry bro.

Try getting a Keller or some other brand. It'll be pretty much the same. I don't know about 30 ply though. Check Drummaker.com (or something like that)

Wow, 30 ply!?! Do you actually want to get any tone from that drum, or are you just looking for one that is sooo dry, that no matter how you tune it, it will sound like a 311 album? The only problem with that drum, in my opinion, will be that it will have zero versatility.

Yeah, I know. I want to price these out so I can vent it and make my own custom snare. I'm not paying $1000 bones for a OCDP snare.
