what are the exquivalant(sp??) drums to session series in other makes. i.e yamaha sonor tama and so on??

let's see:
Sonor- S-class pro.
Tama- possibly the EFX performer(a wrapped birch shell.)
Yamaha- no intermediate all-maple series, only maple custom/abs
Not every company has a professional style intermediate class all maple series like Pearl does, and for the features, performance and sound, Pearl is the only serious choice for the money.
