Is it possible to get MHX drums in any color other than #141?

We did a limited edition KIT in Champagne Sparkle lacquer but I don't know about other colors. I'll check and let you know.

I just heard back from our headquarters and what they said blew me away!

Besides #141 Red Mahogany, MHX can be special ordered in the following sparkle finishes: #160 (Sliver Sparkle), #168 (Ocean Sparkle) and #169 (Green sparkle, see Masterworks catalog page 37)!

Gene, what would be the list price and ETA on an MHX:
16x22/16x16/9x12 Silver Sparkle???

I'd guess that it would be 6 months and the same list prices as standard MHX drums.

4 to 6 months...yes. I'm checking to see if the prices are the same as regular MHX. I'm pretty sure it is but I want to make certain.

I've always wondered why it only came in Wine Red.

I've been considering ordering a MHX kit for a while because what I really want is the low end tones of Mahogany. This is great to know that it can be done in other colours.

These are the only ones though, correct Gene? And why such limited availibility (of colours)?

Quite frankly I was surprised that the factory was willing to do these colors! Perhaps some day, the color choices will be expanded (or limited) but for now these are it.

Very exciting to hear about them even being availible in the other colours.

Hopefully I'll have a new job soon (after 1 year of unemployment - Oregon Unemployment is horrible), and you'll be seeing an order with my name on it ;). Maybe by then you'll be able to do it in platinum mist :P.


By the by, is the Masterworks catalog availible in PDF form?

oh my god, thanks man!!! MHX with silver sparkle and black hardware sounds like a dream come true!!!!
