Dennis Chambers

I found an old Dennis Chambers video where he talks about how to play basic funk grooves and stuff. He also talks bout how to play "in the pocket." He uses looks like a seafoam color on the drums. It's an ugly color but they sounded really great. If anyone saw that video "IN THE POCKET" does u know what pedal he uses? He really rips it up!:p

I believe he played the DW line of pedals during that video, but I may be incorrect.

I saw Dennis is a clinic years ago where he claimed that he used to practice his bass drum technique by taking the spring off of his pedal.
I suppose once you got the beater in play, the rebound off of the head would be enough to get the momentum going. . .

i have the video and he he uses a dw double pedal.
