anyone already heard the AA-METAL-X line?? i think its the same as the Z Customs.. also, they came up with a budget b20 cymbal series named XS20 or something like that.. its good, a budget cymbal made out of b20 bronze not b8. :D

Personally, i would say that AAX metals are closer to Z Custom's but that is just me. The AA Metal-X are not extremely thick, still thick, but not as thick as the Metals. The new AA's feature a raw bell and are cross lathed i believe they are calling it, basically they are lathed twice though just they are offset. The B20 beginner cymbals is quite a feit though, look to other companies to follow suit if the line takes off. I'm more interested in the Jia Chinese myself...that looks like one nasty china!

i think the AAX line is somewhat like the ACustoms.. Thinner than the AA line..

But i said AAX "METALS", AAX Metals are heavy cymbals, heavier than the new AA Metal-X's and heavier than any cymbal in the A Custom line.

cool! where did you find this info out? The SABIAN website? Have they updated the site with new sound clips of the new cymbals?
