Shell packs?

Hey all, I'm looking into an MMX shell pack - just a quick question - I know that changing any shellpack options (sizes, finish, hardware colour etc.) constitues a 'special order', but does changing the finish to a non-stock colour affect the price? Could I still get an MMX shell pack with Wine Red finish with gold hardware for the $3,799 list price, even though it's a special order?

no, the sizes in shellpacks are set. custom orders are defined as colors and hardware colors. i dont know exactly what pearls policy is with custom orders as applied to shell packs, so i would contact your pearl dealer for an answer.

According to Gene, any sizes different to the normal shell packs or non-stock colours/hardware colours constitutes a special order. BUT if you change the sizes of the drums you are going to change the cost.

Summary:

Changed finish and hardware colours = same price, but special order
Changed sizes of drums = changed price, still special order

Any change to sizes and configurations will most likely occur a change in cost, however a change in hardware colour doesn't. So yes you can order an MMX shell pack in wine red finish with gold hardware at no extra cost. Drop in to your local Pearl Masters dealer for prices and orders.
