I DID! Except they got the announcement wrong, they were supposed to say,"Now performing, Dennis Chambers, Carl Perazzo, Raul Reckow, and that other guy who plays guitar..."

Yeah, I was like..."HEY DAD....DENNIS CHAMBERS!!"

He said...."Dennis who?"

So then I told him a lil history and such...and the he played Pearl drums. It was pretty cool.

It sounded like their 1st song was not live. I noticed a huge difference in levels and sound between Santana's songs.
Anyone else notice that? Shania sounded like she was pulling a Milli Vanilli. The only ones who really sounded live was No Doubt,Sting and Bon Jovi.

I noticed...On Shania's set, if you watched her there was actually a point where she stopped singing for a second, while she was "mingling" with the "crowd", except her voice kept going. Who knew she was also a ventriloquist? I honestly don't think Sting sounded that great. Just seems like he's lost something.

It was cool when Sting and Gwen sang together though.

ian40uk, what is sting's real name?, and how could you talk about a fellow countryman like that. indeed. (he may not be british at all, i just assumed he was.) He's from some where in Europe, i think.

his real name is Gordon Sumner, he hails from Newcastle in the north east, and was a teacher before he started playing in the police. dont get me wrong, the early police material was superb stuff, i have soem myself, but his solo stuff is excrutiating, kind of " pseudo jazz "...... shame the police split , because in my opinion they had one of the worlds finest drummers in stewart copeland.
