Im from Costa Rica, and the only local dealer is not selling replacement parts, because "it's not good bussines".
I need some replacement parts for my bass drum pedal and they told me that they would not import replacement parts for me, because the need to buy a BOX of parts, and i only would buy one... Is this the way a authorized dealer should work?
Where can I complain?
Thanks!

Hello,
We experiment the same problem here in Peru, I Think Pearl should have a way to sell all over the world directly to the customers,
for example, I would like to buy an EX-7 kit but the dealer told they never brought one and wont do it in the future. Now I am triying to contact Carl Peterson to help me with this problem.

Wow, that sucks for you guys!
What about having someone here buy the stuff single and then send it to you? Or are there problems with import taxes even on "private" stuff?

Well, a few days after posting this thread y recieved an email from the manager of the store that sell Pearl drums here in Costa Rica and he said that he will help me with the parts i need, I gave him the specific parts, and I'm now waiting his response about the time it will take to bring them to my country (and the final price).
This is good news for two main reasons, the first is I'll get the parts I need, and the second reason is that this forun really works (for me at least), so complaining here is not completely useless...
I'll let you know the end of this story...

Great to hear!Ļ
But if you ever again get in thos kinda situation,
you should post a thread in this forum or talk to
Carl , gene or anyone who works for pearl!
Itīs just bad buisness to have stores not helping
you out all the way with parts, accessories and so on...
And Pearl has been great in this part so I would reckon
they would want to help you whenever there is a problem
like this... :D
