A few months ago I bought 2 Pearl PPS31 Cymbal Holders with Clamps for my splashes. Usually they are good, but the one has a problem with moving. I can't seem to get it to stay in one spot with out spinning away.
What should I buy so my splashes don't swim away?:(

you could try a memory lock if it would fit? of just crank up the wingbolts really tight so it doesnt slip. have you got a picture of the mounting system etc.? if we saw it then it might be easier to solve your problem.

well...because the clamping system isnt that solid, it will occassionally slip, especially as it is chrome-to-chrome. you could try filing the inside of the clamp and the stand where you mount it slightly, so the surface are rougher and grip more. also, make sure the stand and inside of the clamp are clean/free of grease, dust etc. then tighten up the bolts nice and tight. oh yeah, make sure the threads haven't stripped on the bolts, that would cause them to come loose and allow the mount to slip.
hope this helps

sanding it is a good idea untill u want to move it somewhere else, then u have scratched chrome showing. find yourself a thin piece of rubber and sip it between the two.
