Has anyone actually heard these?

I've been wanting to upgrade my ELX snare and have been looking into Sensitones and the ChadSmith Sig snares - could anyone compare these with the firecracker? Also, when are they due out?

ive checked all my retailers and they dont have them yet... i cant find a price either, i wish pearl would list prices on their site...

what colors are they available in. are they real real quality? could i use them with my masters or are they entry level?

i cant wait to get a 10x5 wood shell firecracker. i'm looking forward to use it within my masterworks set-up. i've already got a 10x6 steel shelled Gretsch snare, hoping the firecracker snare will give out a little bit of a different character.

it'll take a while to get here in australia tho.

So, just to clarify, the sizes are 12x5 and 10x5 right?

wouldnt a 12x5 firecracker steel be almost exactly like a 12x5 sensitone steel
