Holder Down thing (just look please!)

What is the best thing to hold/pull on your snare wires. I'm using just a piece of wool string but it keeps breaking on me. What is the best material that I should use?

You mean the thing that connects the wires to the strainer and the butt?
If that's what you mean - snare wires hould come with that.
Just ask your local store if they have a replacement.

And if all else fails just use a piece of 10lb. test fishing line.

All I use now is a long piece of plastic that I cut from a normal clear plastic folder (you know, school supply), and it works really well since it's flat, durable, and it won't break for a long time.

Canapus also makes it's owm "holder down thingy" that's very durable.
