hey i was just wondering if i customized a snare through pearl could they put pearl inlay (like mother of pearl u some times see in guitars) could they do that on a snare drum?

tama does it on g-maple snares so its possible, i dunno if pearl would do it though

I seriously doubt Pearl would do that. The only line where it might be possible would be Masterworks. But even then, I asked Carl a while back about adding a custom outer wood venere to a MW kit and he said no-can-do. I think you will have to go elsewhere to get that Pearl inlay on your snare.

Then again, I could be wrong.

Tama if anything (but they wouldn't do it for you, because youre not an artist), but i doubt many could do it at all.

I'm sure a guitar custom shop might be able to do this. I'd juat call and ask. ESP or Jackson would be my first choice, if not then Fender. They all have great custom shops but it's just I think ESP or Jackson ar more likely to consider customising a drum.
Or you could try Guitar Factory - they're a small guitar custom shop in Orlando, Fl - not sure how much of an issue the location is to you, but they're really good.

yeaj but the prices !!! might as well jsut get some mother of pearl and carve it into a cool sahpe and take a dremel or a router and jsut cut out a place to put the inlay in
