Cymbal Stands

Ok, I have a straight cymbal stand with a 20" ride and a 14x10 "floor" tom on it, I'm about to buy a new 18" crash and I thought I could mount it on this stand.

Firstly, would the stand support the weight off all this rocking around considering I use my floor tom alot.

Secondly, what parts would I need to do this? (I'd want it to be a boom stand.)

Should be OK, although a doube braced stand would be best. You can add a cymbal with either a CH70 (http://www.pearldrum.com/accs.asp) or a cymbal stacker CST 80 (http://www.pearldrum.com/2002_techspeak/cymbal_stacker.asp)

[EDIT] After looking at prices I've decided just to buy a new B-800W boom stand, this means I'll finaly have a stand in the right place to take my 12x10 mouted Tom off my bass drum.
