Whats the fastest model on an Iron Cobra?

I'm lookin to get another bass drum and getting 2 single iron cobra's i heard it's faster

The Flexiglide strap drive has the lightest feel so it is often referred to as a "faster" pedal. None of the 3 are actually faster- its all up the player. Some people don't like the light feel of a strap drive, claiming that the pedal doesn't have enough power. You just need to get to a store and find out which model lets YOU play faster.

Technically, the Power Glide version would be the fastest since it has an overdrive cam and no stretch due to the double chain setup.

But as Disengage said, its whatever works best for you. Try them all.

Tama and pearl should start hooking up pedals to super fast piston machines to see which pedal can go up and down the fastest to design new faster pedals. ;)

I would say powerglide, it has the cam shaped roller which is designed for increased velocity. However, it depends on the player. Dave Lombardo (Slayer) has long used the strap pedals. Try 'em all.

whats the different between the power glide and rolling glide anyway?

A Powerglide has an Overdrive cam, a Rolling glide does not.

the flexiglide strap drive also has an offset cam shape but I've heard about a 50/50 split on whether it or the powerglide is faster - most drummers claim the powerglide feels like it has more "power" though. I'm thinking about switching from DW to the Iron Cobra and I think the Powerglide has the best overall feel.

I would have to say what ever is fastest to u also but they say they make the power glies with a speedo ring that enhances the speed when you crank it up.
