i was just in adelaide the other week for 'planet shakers' conference. it's great city.

now, to answer your question. under $300 for a single pedal will get you a variety of pedals. just depending on your relationship with your local drum store, i'm sure they'd do you a great deal on any pedal. i picked up a single eliminator pedal for $180. an iron cobra cost me around the same price. a dw delta cost me 299. it all depends on who you know i guess. i aint too sure on the retail prices, sorry.

If you are talking about a double pedal, there is not many choices in that range. For a single pedal, Personally, i would get an Iron Cobra, but you can't go wrong with an Eliminator or DW either.
