Hello all.

I have one question:

Why is the woodhoop of a masterworks bd that thick??
The problem is, that the beater of the pedal does not hit the head in the perfect angel (90° to the floor). The beatre has to go a longer way to touch the head (i guess bout 92° - 95°). What can I do to handle that, cause it sometimes feels uncomfotable. I play an older power shifter double pedal.

Thanks for your help guys. I really appreciate this forum, cause you can talk to so many people who know bout the stuff.

make adjustments to the bassdrum legs to compensate. But if they're as high as they can go(which I doubt) then I can't help you...

try lowering or raising the legs of the bass drum or you can adjust or pedal rod (stick with the beater) up or down to see if u get the 90 degree thing.
