Using pearls kit builder as a guide i came up with a template for my own kit builder using adobe illustrator. If NEone is interested inchecking it out let me know. I have also been working on lightwave and am now modling my kit there.

I believe there are already "dream kit" threads in the Export section, and the General Drumset Discussion sections...You may think about posting it there, but yes I'd like to see it.

DW has a nice kit builder on their site... might be worth taking a look at www.dwdrums.com

Do you use the 18" floor tom very much? Just seems like it would have been more logical to go with a 16" instead?

yeh Im kinda wounderin about that 18 as well... ya know, if you changed the 13 tom to a 14 rack tom, and instead of a 14 floor, you had a 16 floor, you would have 2 inch incrimets (sp?) throughout your toms. that makes for much easier tuning jobs.
and ya know, if you went that way, you could get an export or export select fusion series drumset, you would already have all those drums but the 2 floors... that is if you went with the sizes I suggested... looks pretty good though. I like how you have 2 floors. thats how I like my kit as well. its so much better that way ya know? well anyways, hope you can reach your dream soon.

Whoa...I apologize if you thought I was being rude, but try to lighten up a little. My first post on this page simply notes that there are a couple of very similar threads on the forum. I think if you wait a few more seconds before you get all offended, you'll see that it was simply a miscommunication. When all is said and done, this is a "dream kit" thread with no dream kit.
