Chad's Snare

Just wanted to know if anyone has a Chad Smith Pearl Snare Drum. And if yes, what kind of music do you generally play? Does the sound work well...What's it like, thinking of buying one.

One of my fellow drummers has the Chad Smith snare, and it sounds really great. He plays in a punk band, so Chad's drum sounds good, but the cost is too high for the sound if you ask me. So my final answer would have to be dont buy it, go with something that you like better for less $.
