I personally used expensive skateboard bearing lubricant (Redz speed creem i think it was)
On the ball bearings at each end of my pedal, i gushed the stuff through with a paper towel on the other side soaking up all the drips and dirt.
After that i played the pedal as fast as i could vigerously for only a minute or two and left it for a bit and the next time I used it it squeeked no more, You may need to do this once or twice but once it's done well it should last for ages (depending how dusty the rooms gets etc etc)
Good luck :)

where is the squeak coming from? can you isolate it? take the pedal off the drum and put it on a table and see if you can tell. Is the squeak coming from the hinged on the back of the foot plate or the spring assembly or the bushings of the pedal? If the spring is very loose, the squeak may be the round top part of the spring squeaking against the part that it clips onto. Try tensioning it up and see if the squeak disappears. What kind of pedal is this? How old is it?
Report back, maybe we could help you better with more information.

powdered graphite available at a hardware store, it's a dry lubricant.
