Does anyone know about the sonor middle pedal? it looked cool i guess. it sure was a steep price though, $717

Yes, it's a very cool idea. However now you're playing with a pedal with the response of two slaves instead of a slave and a master.

True. It sorta gets the feeling of playing a real double bass kit instead of a single. but still not worth 700 bucks.

I've been curious on how such a pedal would alter the way you setup your drums. You're foor tom will be in the way where your leg would go.
I realy like Sonor pedals. I havent had the chance to try the middle pedal yet, but I would bet it feels great just like the other Giant Steps. The floor tom would'nt be in the way because you will have to shift your throne and snare right behind your bass. When you do this you will obviously have to move everything else that on the right side of your kit (floor toms, ride, crashes, ect.) over to the right more to be confortable. It should feel just like using two bass drum set up.
