I would like one last look at a picture of a Masters drum set in wine red and midnight fade. I want to compare these to the new black sparkle before I decide what color to order my new BRX drum set in. Thanks to anyone who can post a picture of these colors for me. I prefer not to use the Pearl website color selector. I do not think it is realistic enough for me to make an informed decision.:D

Well, our kits are very similar(I think the drum sizes are the same except that I don't have a 13" ) :D
By the way, I have placed an order on optimounts for my 14x14" and 16x16" floor toms and I can't wait to see how that'll turn out.
Ed U Kater, Here are some more pics that I found( most of midnight mastered kit, I believe)

I'd say that the pics from midnight mastered kit are pretty close to what the drums look like in reality.
That's an amazing color.

That sounds great ...those sizes will rock...did you get MRX or MMX or Birch? Also, tell me more about the quarter toms....are they Pearl's version of an octoban?

Midnight, I got the MMX, I got a really good deal on them...so thats the biggest reason I chose them... I have only played on MMX,,,I loved them. The Pearl quarter toms are alot like tama's octabons, the quarter tom shells are made of aluminum.... They offer 4 different ones's, The sizes are as follows...6x12,6x15,6x18,and 6x21. The really sound like the octabons, I cant tell the sound of them apart, I base that on what I have heard on cd's and live. To me they are a good investment. Drum On!!

JMaxey- Thanks or the reply...you will love the MMX...I'm not sure if you have seen the posts on heads for MMX, but i recently changed the Ambassadors that come with the kit to clear Emperors and man...what a difference. I also really like the reinforcement rings...they really give the shells attack. was you kit in stock?..when do you expect delivery?
I'm always interested in adding on and the 1/4 toms sound interesting...can you get them in masters colors?...and do you know of a ballpark price?
Thanks
