Hey guys, the name's Paul Royer. I'm from bakersfield, CA and I have a question about my set... I bought it from my uncle a few years back, and I have not been able to find any information on it anywhere... here are the specs:
Pearl Wellington Model # 50620
Grade A Rockwood Cylinder
Bass: 24"
Snare: 14" steel
Hi-Toms: 13" & 14"
Floor-Toms: 16" & 18"
I have the original tama high hat stand and bass pedal it came with, along with all of the original wellington stamped drumheads. I have since then bought new heads to preserve the originals... My uncle says that he went to a buddy rich training camp and he actually played these drums... although he could be full of it... no way of knowing.
I guess my main questions are:
Why can't I find any info on these drums?
If they are in GREAT condition, how much would they be worth today?
Are they worth keeping and puting money into, and altering to meet todays standards, or should I just buy a new kit?
Any help you might be able to offer would be much appreciated.
Thanks guys
