I just bought my first new kit (Pearl Export ELX-Amber Mist-awesome kit !) after 20 some years of playing used kits-my last used one being a Pearl Export that still sounds great after 15 yrs .Well I decided to spring for the expansion package (2 mounted toms) back in April of this year.After many phone calls to Musician's Friend (they said Pearl kept back ordering)and 7 months later, I'm still waiting. Does this happen with Pearl often? :confused:

That's strange, because the MF website lists this expansion pack, in all colors, as currently in stock.

Odd, maybe you should try to cancel the order and re order.

when i order stuff from pearl they have sometimes got the other way round but yeah they do take a really long time

but ya wherever i order from pearl back orders a crap load. i have come to the conclusion that they do just because they can lol.

Pearl is horribly slow with orders, but a boatload of gear just came in a few weeks ago so it should be instock

I have always got everything fast from pearl,I got a Pearl exr 8 piece and it came in a week.
