I just purchased two pearl eliminator pedals for my kit, and I was wondering what cams you use with your eliminators, and why?

The pedals I had been using were Pearls from the 1990's, so I have never had any experience with cams.

From what I little I know about these eliminators is that they come with 4 different cams, and that each serves it's own purpose. I will be getting the pedals in the mail soon, and figured I'd ask the forum members which cams to use first.

If you think it matters what kind of music I will be playing, I do play many different styles with a few different bands, but I most enjoy playing in a style somewhere between Alex Van Halen, and John Bonham, meet Mike Portnoy, and Mark Zonder. Please don't take this as me claiming to be good as these players, I just try to get something from each of these great players (among others) and try to incorporate it into my own style.

Thanks for all your assistance.

You would probably Enjoy the blue cam. I enjoy the red cam. Thats just me. The cams have so many different effects on the pedal play. Do a Search, youll get more than enough results.
