hi

i am considering buying a PEARL DR-80 (black with square tube) DRUM RACK but i never seem to see any posts in this forum regarding any other rack than the ICON or the GIBRALTER ones. I definatley want apearl rack cos i like the square tubing but I cant afford the ICON rack so I have to get the cheaper one!

Has any1 got one of these racks, seen one?

are they any good, stable, nice lookin, practical etc..

thanks in advance

yeah i got one not to long ago myself. i love it. it makes set up a lot easier. it is really stable but i cant get all my drums to fit on it though. so im just using a 5 piece right now. all my cymbals fit easily. i have 6 cymbals at the moment soon to be 7.

Buy some 1.5 " x 1.5 " Aluminum square tubeing 1/8 of an inch thick . The DR-80 rack is only 3 foot wide . I expanded mine to 4 and a half feet

I have a DR-100, the predecessor to the ICON rack... I believe the DR-80 has thinner square tubing, I might be wrong...

Anyway PM me, I might be interested in getting rid of my DR-100 rack with rack mounts.
