I got the snare for $175 because it was done at the same time as my kit. That snare is 14 x 6 1/2 Maple 20 Ply, with two 2" vents. Aquarian Hi Energy snare batter, and classic clear reso. Came with these new German Snare Wires they sound awesome. Its got a normal black box strainer, all hardware in nickle plated black.

Let me reword this for some people. I paid for a 10 ply. In a few emails Dennis stated it was a 20 ply. So yeah, i got all excited and what have you, so I worded a few things wrongly. I DID NOT pay for something I didnt get, I paid for something that I couldnt be happier with. Dennis has great customer support, and has never done anything to make me unhappy.

Its sweet although I’m not a fan of the lugs it cheapens the drum in my opinion. Tube lugs would probably have been better.

Yeah its 20 ply. Or it was. You see, I ordered a 10, but there was a process error and i paid for a 20. and i told him i ordered a 10, but i never got money, and he never said different, so i dont know. Ill figure it out. But i had an envisionment of the color in my head, emailed the details, and he did it. Cheap too, or my set was, but i didnt have his normal prices thanks to a sale...


dude you are such a f'in lyar. i know phattie and wuz at his shop this morning before he left for ashville and we looked at this thread and thats not what happened. u r an idiot, you only got the 14" because you didn't get an 18" tom, and you never paid for a 20-ply you idiot. he said you never paid for a trick strainer like you said in your other thread. and you are full of bull**** because we looked at your user name and all your posts, and you said UPS messed up theshipment, your dumb. ups didnot even get them until last night STUPID. i've never posted here before you you lie about everything every fawking time you post, SOMEBODY had to call you out. phattie won't get on the board because he dont start stuff with people but dang he was pissed thismorning that you were telling people you paid for a 20-ply and didn't get it. that makes him look like crap, you shouldn't lie to put companies down, idiot. -Phil

I said I thought there was an error. Thats what I assumed. Dennis is a great guy, and on the kit, I was referring to the snares cause I misunderstood what Dennis said Im guessing. But I have an email here from Dennis that says that I had a 20 ply snare, and I didnt know if that was a typo, or what was going on there. And I also have an email that says that that was the price of the snare. I also wanted to add an 8" Tom, so we dropped my 18" floor, changed my 13" rack to a fourteen inch floor, and thats how that came to be. I said CLEARLY that there was a misunderstanding in the emails. I did not say I paid for a product I did not get. What I meant by that post was I was confused because in a couple of emails Dennis said I had a 20 Ply, and I dont know if that was a typo or not. Thats what I stated. If there was an assumption because of my post, I'll change it. I'll go do that right now. I hope that makes people like you happy. And I honestly THOUGHT that there had been a shipping problem because Dennis stated in an email they were shipped out on monday.

I actually had visioned the vents looking that way, so Ill be happy to get the snares here soon. The acrylic has vents as well.

I would rather not say the price as each person may recieve a different quote depending on options. But heres the specs.

Two Bass Drums - 20 x 20 [Maple 8 Ply]

Three Rack Toms - 8 x 7, 10 x 8, 12 x 9 [Maple 6 Ply]

Two Floor Toms - 14 x 14, 16 x 16 [Maple 6 Ply]

Two Snares - 14 x 6 1/2 Vented [Maple 10 Ply], 12 x 7 Vented [Acrylic]

I should have pictures of the whole set late next week. I believe Dennis is shipping out the basses and toms tomorrow. And another thing. He threw in Response II heads for my toms, those new German snare wires for the snares, he did the snare vents for free. Hes an awesome guy, that one post may have made him look otherwise. But, I dont know what the deal was there. I just got back from the Godsmack And Metallica concert in St. Louis last night. It was awesome.
