Do you have a bigger shot of this? And perhaps a shot of the whole rack?

I jave a current Gibralter catalog ond nothing in it looks like the pic you have, however, the pic is kind of small to go off of.

Looks like a pearl rack base to me? With the square rubber end caps and the flush 'T' joint.

I do believe the vertical tubing for Pearl and Gibraltar racks are of the same diameter, so a cross between the two might just be what Fredz saw.

Yes it looks like the bottom leg of a DR500 style rack! We could tell for sure if you can post a JPEG of the entire rack.

no no no, what im saying is, i saw a rack in my LMS.. its a "GIBRALTAR" rack, but instead of having regular "GIBRALTAR" T-LEGS, they have circular tubing, no T LEGS of "GIBRALTAR" Racks.. i suck in explaining..

Fred,

Your picture was what confused everyone. Apparently you were showing what was missing that you were used to?

The first Gibraltar racks just had round end caps on the verticals. That's why they were 3 sided, for stability. And then that got extended up into a cage. Still available today. These versions got the rep for rotating when undesired and needed more than hand tightening. A lot of people added extra horizontal bars to make them more rigid.

The next version was one sided but near each verticals bottom had a 16" or so section attached at 45 degree angle for a weight bearing brace and had a thin plastic piece than spanned the bottom of the vertical leg and angle bracing bar. DIXON and CANNON (both R.O.C importers) sell a version of that currently.

So, if I understand what you're saying, it's a gibraltar rack, that doesn't have t-bar feet? Isn't that one of their power series racks?

Fredzs, the rack that you saw was only customized by JB music. They don't had a "T Leg" assembly here. They just assemble the parts to form a rack so that they could sell it tho customers like us. If you'll notice, the rack has no legs, only post. If the there's no T leg, it is not stable at all.

I'm planning to expand my gibraltar rack, but unfortunately I cannot find T legs here. The side wings are not sturdy... Here's a pic of my drum rack with "T Legs".
